Introduction to Ceramics and DesignTaleStudio:
Ceramics, a material derived from water, earth, and fire, is not always perfectly controllable. DesignTaleStudio explores the aesthetic and material experimentation of ceramics, aiming to create authentic works of art rather than mere products. The studio's research draws inspiration from architecture, design, and art, leading to collaborations with international figures.

Create Your Tile Competition:
In 2014, DesignTaleStudio launched the 'Create Your Tile' competition to discover innovative graphic solutions for a new ceramic floor tiling collection. The competition was won by architect Kasia Zareba with her project 'Fossil'.

About Kasia Zareba:

FOSSIL Tile Collection:
The FOSSIL collection is inspired by prehistoric imprints of plants and animals on rocks, particularly the grooved shells of extinct ammonites. The hand-drawn patterns create unique, ornamental designs for contemporary interiors, offering optical illusions and a natural, elegant atmosphere.

Technical Specifications:
The document provides detailed technical specifications for the FOSSIL tiles, including dimensions, slip resistance, stain resistance, thermal shock resistance, frost resistance, water absorption, and chemical resistance.
