Specifications and Recommendations:
Ceracasa provides a five-level classification for the use of ceramic tiles based on mechanical load resistance. The classifications range from tiles suitable for low mechanical loads, such as in bedrooms and bathrooms, to tiles designed for very high mechanical loads, in accordance with European Standard ISO-10545, part 7. It is recommended to leave a minimum joint of 1.5 mm during installation.

Installation Procedures:
For optimal installation of ceramic tiles, it is crucial to use a reliable adhesive or grout and ensure the quality of the tiles. Ceracasa recommends using type C1 or C2 adhesives, which are high-performance in terms of water absorption and resistance. The installation should be done using a thin layer of adhesive, and it is advised to use spacers between tiles to facilitate the process. The installation should not be carried out at temperatures below 5ºC or above 30ºC.

Grouting and Joint Filling:
Leaving a gap between tiles is essential for both aesthetic and functional reasons. Joints help absorb deformities and movements from the walls or floors and enhance the beauty of the tiles. Different types of joints include regular, structural, perimeter, and expansion joints. It is recommended to use a 5mm joint for outdoor installations and a 1.5mm joint for rectified and calibrated tiles.

Post-Installation Care:
After installation, it is important to clean the tiles thoroughly to remove any dry film. Entrance mats are recommended to prevent scratching and preserve the appearance of polished tiles. Ceracasa's products are maintenance-free, fireproof, and can be cleaned with regular detergent, avoiding hydrochloric acid.
