CELENIT L2AB/A2

Product catalog summary
Product Overview: The CELENIT L2AB/A2 is a composite thermal and acoustic insulation board classified under Euroclass A2-s1, d0. It consists of a 10 mm layer of mineralized thin fir wood wool bound with white Portland cement and mineral powder, coupled with a layer of mineral wool compliant with EN 13162 standards. The wood wool is 2 mm wide, and the product complies with EN 13168 standards. It is available with PEFC™ and FSC® certifications and can also be produced with grey Portland cement.
Specifications: The board is available in various thicknesses ranging from 50 mm to 175 mm, with corresponding weights from 12.8 kg/m² to 24.1 kg/m². The declared thermal conductivity is 0.091 W/mK for wood wool and 0.035 W/mK for mineral wool. The thermal resistance varies from 1.25 m²K/W to 4.82 m²K/W depending on thickness. The compressive strength is ≥ 30 kPa, and tensile strength perpendicular to faces is ≥ 5 kPa for 50 mm thickness and ≥ 7.5 kPa for thicker boards. The product has a water vapor transmission of µ WW 5 - MW 1 and a chloride content of ≤ 0.06%. Sound absorption is up to αw 0.95 and NRC up to 1.05.
Applications: The boards are suitable for ceiling insulation with mechanical fixing. They are available in natural or painted colors.
Logistics and Handling: Boards are available in dimensions of 1000x600 mm, with varying numbers of boards per pallet depending on thickness. Proper storage and handling are crucial to prevent damage. Boards should be stored indoors, protected from moisture, and not in direct contact with the ground.
Certifications: The product is certified under ISO 9001:2015, FSC®, PEFC™, and ICEA standards. It meets the EN 13168 standard.
Sound Absorption: The sound absorption performance is validated by tests conducted at the Giordano Institute according to EN ISO 354:2003. The performance remains unaffected by painting.
Storage Recommendations: Boards should be transported and stored on a flat surface in a clean, dry place. They should be acclimatized to the installation environment before use, especially for indoor applications.
Additional Notes: The technical data sheet is subject to updates, and users are advised to contact CELENIT S.p.A. for the latest information.
