Construction and Materials: The panel consists of a front surface layer made of basalt glass ceramic plates and a rear surface layer of a composite grid laminate. The core is made of calibrated mineral wool, all bonded with an inorganic flame retardant adhesive "LR Cerammatrix 01-50".
Installation and Processing:
  • Panels can be connected using tongue and groove, mounting rails, screws, and other materials.
  • Processing with standard cutting tools is possible, with recommended protective measures such as gloves and safety glasses.
  • Horizontal storage on pallets is advised to prevent slipping.
Delivery Options: Panels are delivered on pallets wrapped with stretch film, with various sizes and surfaces available upon request. Connecting strips and adhesives can also be provided.

Carbon Basalt Glas Fire-resistant soundproof composite sandwich panel based on basalt and ceramic. CBG SeaPan WP 25/G offers completely new solutions to the manufacture of cabin walls in shipbuilding. The use of lightweight composite materials makes it possible to significantly reduce the total weight of a construction with e.g. only approx. 7.8 kg/m2 for a wall panel of fire class B-15.
