LC2 MAISON LA ROCHE Family LC Fauteuil Grand Confort, petit modèle Armchair with frame in semigloss brown enamel steel frame. Loose cushions feather padded, no polyurethane core, for a very soft and comfortable seating. Upholstery in natural leather, tobacco colour (Pelle Naturale ZZ tabacco). Limited edition of 90 pieces. the models are numbered, certified and carry an iidentity card. This sofa was designed in 1928 and purchased for the home of Swiss banker and collector Raoul La Roche. This version is one of the first prototypes of the sofa and, when compared with the standard version, places great emphasis and focus on the stark contrast between the materials rather than the colours. Authenticity All the models in the Cassina collection, by merit of their artistic content and particular creative character, are protected by copyright, a legal institution that is universally recognised and safeguarded; legal protection is assured for the whole life-span of the author and for 70 years after his/her death (or the death of the last surviving co-author).
