Duc è un progetto originale del 1976 fondato sul connubio tra materiali all’avanguardia e la tecnologia strutturale. Nel rispetto del carattere innovativo e sofisticato del disegno originale, Cassina rinnova e attualizza il divano sia nella comodità sia nelle dimensioni della seduta, mantenendone la caratteristica struttura a pannelli assemblati mediante una cerniera lampo che corre lungo i lati per tutta l’altezza. Grazie allo studio eseguito da Cassina LAB, una collaborazione tra il Centro di Ricerche e Sviluppo di Cassina e Poli.design del Politecnico di Milano, l’imbottitura dei cuscini in poliuretano espanso è rivestita in una fibra riciclata al 100%, ottenuta da PET in gran parte recuperato dagli oceani, garantendo confort e rispetto dell’ambiente. Questa nuova versione non prevede i cuscini imbottiti laterali, come il modello originale, ma ha la possibilità di aggiungere dei cuscini opzionali per il bracciolo. Disponibile nella versione divano a due o a tre posti, e poltrona. Duc is an original project from 1976 founded on the combination of cutting-edge materials and structural technology. While respecting the innovative and sophisticated character of the original design, Cassina renews and updates this sofa, both in terms of comfort and the size of the seat, while maintaining its characteristic panel structure assembled by means of a zip that runs along the sides for its entire height. Thanks to the study carried out by Cassina LAB, a collaboration between the Cassina Research and Development Centre and Poli.design at the Milan Polytechnic, the cushion padding in polyurethane foam is wrapped with a 100% recycled fibre, obtained from PET mainly recovered from the sea, guaranteeing comfort and respect for the environment. This new version does not include side cushions like the original model however it is possible to add optional armrest cushions. Duc-Duc is available in a two or three-seater sofa and armchair. Duc ist ein Originalprojekt aus dem Jahre 1976, das auf der Kombination aus avantgardistischen Materialien und Strukturtechnologie basiert. Unter Beachtung des innovativen und edlen Charakters des Originalentwurfs erneuert und aktualisiert Cassina das Sofa sowohl was die Bequemlichkeit als auch was die Maße der Sitzfläche anbelangt, behält jedoch die charakteristische Struktur mit Paneelen bei, die durch einen Reißverschluss zusammengehalten werden, der entlang der Seiten auf der gesamten Höhe verläuft. Dank einer Studie von Cassina LAB, einer Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem Cassina Forschungs- und Entwicklungszentrum und Poli.design des Mailänder Polytechnikums, ist die Polsterung der Kissen aus Polyurethanschaum mit einer zu 100% recycelten Faser bezogen. Diese Faser wird aus PET gewonnen, das zum Großteil aus den Ozeanen gefischt wurde, und garantiert Komfort sowie den Schutz der Umwelt. Diese neue Version sieht keine seitlichen gepolsterten Kissen wie das Originalmodell vor, aber es besteht die Möglichkeit, zusätzliche Kissen für die Armlehne hinzuzufügen. Dans le respect du caractère innovant et sophistiqué de design d’origine, Cassina renouvelle et actualise ce canapé, que ce soit dans le confort ou dans les dimensions de l’assise. Sa structure caractéristique à panneaux assemblés par l’intermédiaire d’une fermeture à glissière qui court le long des côtés sur toute la hauteur est maintenue. Grâce à l’étude effectuée par Cassina LAB, une collaboration entre le Centre de recherche et de développement de Cassina et le Poli.design du Politecnico di Milano, le rembourrage des coussins en mousse de polyuréthane est recouvert d’une fibre 100 % recyclée, fabriquée en grande partie en PET récupéré dans les océans. Il garantit le confort et respecte l’environnement. Cette nouvelle version ne prévoit pas de coussins latéraux rembourrés comme le modèle original, mais il est possible d’ajouter en option des coussins pour les accoudoirs.
