Cassecroute goes aluminium Entire collection available in coated aluminium from 2012. The beams are made of 95% recycled aluminium, which makes the Cassecroute collection fully cradle-tocradle. They are subsequently coated in the four basic colours selected by Wim Segers and Ronald Mattelé. Export ambitions With the aluminium collection, Cassecroute embarks on an export story. It is our aim to gradually profile ourselves as a direct source for hotels, public spaces, and other projects.

Production stays in Belgium In spite of the high tax burden and red tape, Cassecroute remains faithful to the Made in Belgium concept. The staff of the social workplace – where the bases and the aluminium beams are made – are proud to participate in the expansion of Cassecroute. They are secretly dreaming of an assembly project somewhere in Miami… Not a single tree is felled for the production of each aluminium Cassecroute table.
