Product Overview: RESITRIX® SK Partial Bond is a heat-weldable, glass-reinforced composite rubber membrane with an EPDM core. It features a partially self-adhesive underside coated with polymer-modified bitumen and a detachable release film.
Specifications: The product is designated according to DIN SPEC 20000-201 and 20000-202 standards and holds CE certification per DIN EN 13956 and DIN EN 13967. It complies with DIN 18531, 18195, and related standards for sealing applications.
Installation Variants: The membrane can be installed partially self-adhesive on full-surface primers. Detailed substrate requirements and processing information are available in the RESITRIX® specification guidelines.
Material Properties: The membrane has an overall thickness of 2.5 mm ± 10%, a width of 1,000 mm, and a weight of approximately 2.75 kg/m². It has a storage life of 12 months in original packaging and is delivered in rolls of 10 m length.
Physical Properties: Key physical properties include tensile strength, elongation at break, dimensional change, cold bending test results, ozone resistance, joint strength, and water vapor diffusion resistance. The product is classified under application category K1/K2 and property class E1 according to DIN 18531, with a building material class B2 and reaction to fire class E.
Fire Resistance: The membrane is resistant to flying sparks and radiating heat, as per DIN 4102, Part 7, and DIN EN 1187.
