Product Description Field of Application White-pigmented, adhesion-promoting and solidifying priming color. Particularly suitable for exterior substrates with chalking but adherent existing coatings as well as for substrates, that are going to be coated with Duparol as finishing coat. Other finishing coats are possible, but have to be checked for compatibility on site. Not suitable for polystyrene boards or ETIC/EWI systems with polystyrene insulation material. Gloss Level Supplementary Product Matt ■ Duparol ■ Duparol-W Application Suitable Substrates The substrates must have completely cured and be free from all materials that may prevent good adhesion. Substrate Preparation Please see Technical Information No. 650 "Substrates and their preparation" for further information. Apply with solvent-resistant coating tools. Thinning Surface Coating System Consumption Application Conditions Product may only be diluted with Dupa-grund. Dilute Dupa-Haftgrund with up to 20 % of Dupa-grund on highly absorbent substrates. On compact, non-absorbing substrates dilute with 10 % Dupa-grund. On smooth according to substrate condition approx. 180 – 220 ml/m². On coarse substrates correspondingly more. Lower Temperature Limit for Application and Drying: Can be applied in frosty conditions, if the substrate is dry and free of ice.

Technical Information No. 735 Drying/Drying Time Tools Tool Cleaning Note At +20 °C and 65 % relative humidity coatable after approx. 12 hours. Lower temperature and higher humidity extend the drying time. To achieve good priming results, only apply with solvent resistant brush or paint roller. Clean tools with cellulose thinner. Do not mix with other products. Dupa-Haftgrund is incompatible with other materials, as well as with Duparol and Duparol-W.
