CapaSilan Silicone resin based interior paint. Troubleshooter for walls and ceilings subjected to intensive sidelight. Product Description Field of Application CapaSilan is an emission-minimised and solvent-free, mineral matt, scrub-resistant interior paint with outstanding properties. CapaSilan presents a new generation of interior paints. Due to the excellent application properties of CapaSilan and the long open time it is possible to avoid marks from lapping even in rooms with adverse lighting conditions (sidelight/grazing light). Also suitable as a renovation paint on acoustic ceiling boards and acoustic render/plaster. Material Properties Material Base / Vehicle Packaging/Package Size Gloss Level Storage Technical Data Emission-minimised and solvent-free. Free of fogging-active substances. Long open time – for large-area application on seamless surfaces without lapping. Highly water vapour permeable. sd-value < 0.1 m Allows optimal repairs (easy to touch up). Easy to apply. Water-thinnable/-dilutable. Combination of silicone resin emulsion and special synthetic dispersion/emulsion. ■ Standard Product: 5 litres and 12.5 litres. Airfix: 25 litres hobbock. Ready to use for efficient roller and spray application with airless equipment. ■ ColorExpress: 7.5 litres and 12.5 litres White.CapaSilan can be tinted with CaparolColor or AmphiColor® (AVA) colourants. If more than one can/bucket is manually tinted, all product must be thoroughly mixed before use in order to avoid colour differences. Quantities of 100 litres or more in individual colour shades may be ordered ready-tinted ex factory. CapaSilan is tintable to all current colour collections via the ColorExpress tinting & mixing machine system, up to luminosity 70 (approx.). Check tinted product before applying to avoid colour deviation. Always use tinted paint of same batch, when applying on seamless surfaces. Dull matt (Dead-matt according to DIN EN 13 300). Keep in a cool, but frost-free place.
