Capadecor Calcino-Decor Purely mineral based lime surfacer (spackling compound) for premium-quality marble smoothing technique. Product Description Field of Application Purely mineral based coating for internal walls and ceilings, made of slaked lime, marble dust and water. Calcino-Decor is particularly suitable for high-grade designing of impressive interiors, like e.g. representative offices, receptions and conference room areas, hotels, banks, leisure rooms, chancelleries, private buildings, etc. Material Properties - Purely mineral based - No organic additives - Looks like stone - Highly diffusion-capable - High sorption - Non-combustible, hence mineral - Easy to apply (ductile) - Tintable in individual colour shades Packaging/Package Size ■ Calcino-Decor: Whitish grey. Colour shade and consistency of delivered product may vary marginally, due to the pure mineral contents. ■ Calcino-Color: Basic Tints: 22 finished paste units for preparing basic tints, which can give 3 additional lightness steps, depending on the added amount/quantity. All basic tints have been developed according to the Caparol 3D System plus (please follow T.I. No. 903). Cool, but frost-free. Do not store below 5 °C. Keep used buckets always tightly closed, thus avoiding agglutination and initial drying. Application Suitable Substrates The substrate must be sound/stable, dry, clean, and free from all materials/substances that may prevent good adhesion. Technical Information No. 880 Method of Application After having completed eventually necessary substrate preparation, always apply one priming or intermediate coat of Caparol Putzgrund 610. Smoothen uneven substrates preliminarily with Akkordspachtel medium or fine type. If cracks exist in render/plaster coatings, a reinforcement fleece should be embedded in Akkordspachtel. Technical Information No. 880 Advice Cleaning and Maintenance Calcino-Imprägnierpaste (impregnating paste) does not protect against direct spray/splashing water loads (limescale formation) or soiling caused by substances with contents of fat/grease, acids, tar, caffeine, theine or discolouring substances that leaves marks. Slight surface soiling is removable with warm water, adding a neutral household cleaner, if necessary.
