Open the catalog to page 1The DIN EN 13 300 has been the valid norm for dispersion paints and all water-borne coating materials and coating systems for interior walls and ceilings since 1 November 2001. After a first classification in application and type of binder, the norm defines further criteria: wet scrub resistance, gloss level, contrast ratio (opacity) and largest grain size.

The existing wet scrub classes are 1 to 5, whereas class 1 has got the highest Regarding the gloss, the DIN EN 13 300 distinguishes the four gloss levels gloss, semi-gloss, matt and flat matt. As for the contrast ratio (opacity), four classes are defined (1 - 4). Coatings of class 1 have got the highest opacity.
