The DIN EN 13 300 has been the valid norm for dispersion paints and all water-borne coating materials and coating systems for interior walls and ceilings since 1 November 2001. After a first classification in application and type of binder, the norm defines further criteria: wet scrub resistance, gloss level, contrast ratio (opacity) and largest grain size.
