Monobloc domes Monobloc domes are manufactured with solid and/ or alveolar thermoformed polycarbonate (as described below), UV rays protected, in clear transparent or opal white colour, with reaction to fire classification B-s1-d0 or B-s2-d0 according to EN 13501-1 Standard. Standard dimensions are indicated in the following pages. The peculiar shape of the element ensures a great light diffusion and a significant thermal insulation, which varies depending on the model. The availability of different solutions in single, double and triple skin allows to install the domes in the most different environmental conditions. The solution of thermal insulation and energy saving problems is the reason that led CAODURO ® to create new models. Diamante series domes (square and rectangular shape only) are available upon request and depending on the quantities. Our domes can be installed on metallic upstands, metallic upstands for continuous ventilation, standard GFRP monobloc upstands, GFRP monobloc upstands with extractors, Onda Europa GFRP monobloc upstands, GFRP monobloc upstands on corrugated roofing sheets, GFRP monobloc upstands for curved sandwich panels, concrete or wooden upstands (not supplied by us). Each aluminium frame can be standard or provided with low thermal transmittance profile BT. It is suitable to be combined with manual opening device, electric opening device for daily ventilation, manhole opening device for roof access and eventually SMOKE OUT® for smoke and heat exhaust ventilation system installation. Further accessories are anti-falling and anti-intrusion grids, sunshade sliding curtains, insect screens and our GUARDIAN™ detector for the automatic domes closing in presence of wind or rain. Domes fastening to upstands and frames takes place with standard CAODURO ® patented clamps. Domes made with polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) sheets, Climate Control PC (with a better UV rays protection factor) or different coloration sheets are also available upon request and depending on the quantities. Thanks to a wide range of accessories, our domes can be employed in private dwellings as well as in commercial and industrial buildings: a quality product guaranteed over time. Vela series (standard production) Our domes can be opened with a manual action (MN), electric action (EL), as manhole (PU), for natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilation (NSHEV) and for smoke disposal.
