Overview
Vacuum tube collectors with flat reflectors are designed for higher efficiency in diffuse radiation conditions, such as cloudy weather and winter. The vacuum between the glass tubes acts as an excellent insulator, preventing freezing at temperatures as low as -18°C. The Calpak Vacuum VT models are available with 12 or 20 vacuum tubes, each 1.5 meters in length, and are designed to be space-efficient and easily replaceable. The flat corrugated reflector is made of granulated aluminum, which enhances performance by allowing dust and snow to slide off easily.
Construction Details

The instantaneous efficiency curve for the Calpak 20VT collectors is provided, adhering to ISO 9806-1 and EN 12975-2 standards.
