Modified Acrylic PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Specular Gloss: This is a water-based urethane modified acrylic primer-sealer with excellent adhesion to a wide variety of Volume Solids: surfaces that usually present difficult adhesion problems. It is recommended that a test-patch be applied before proceeding if there is concern about adhesion to a certain substrate. This product is suitable for inte- rior or exterior exposures. It must be topcoated with latex, alkyd, urethane or waterborne epoxy topcoats. RECOMMENDED USE: PVC, Other plastics (except polypropylene or polyethylene), Glass, Fiberglass, Glossy Paints, Galvanized Metal, Copper, Aluminum**, Tile, Glazed Block Dry Film Thickness: 1.5 mils Viscosity @ 77 °F: 86 KU ± 5 Maximum VOC: Thinner: Water WARNING! If you scrape, sand or remove old paint from any surface, you may release lead dust. LEAD Soap & Water IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH AVAILABLE COLORS AND BASES: approved respirator to control lead exposure. Carefully clean up with a wet mop or HEPA vacuum. Before you start, find out how to protect yourself and your family by contacting the U.S. EPA/Lead Information Hotline at 1-800-424-LEAD (5323) or log on to www.epa.gov/lead. Surfaces to be painted must be free of AVAILABLE PACKAGE SIZES: dust, mildew, dirt, grease, wax, loose paint, or any other contaminant that may inhibit good adhesion. Clean the surface by washing with strong detergent followed by clean water rinse. Remove heavy grease or oil contaminants with solvent such as xylol or lacquer thinner. Lightly sand any hard or glossy surfaces to promote good adhesion. This product is ready-to-use as it comes from the container, but can be thinned DRYING TIMES: sparingly with water if necessary. Air and surface temperatures should be 50ºF (10ºC) or higher during application and drying time. Use adequate ventilation.
