From 2021, the new European Commission Ecodesign Directive comes into force imposing stricter efficiency standards. CLASSIFICATION The classification of a cast resin transformer depends on the value of the no-load loss (P0), as well as the load loss (Pk). More precisely, P0 losses are independent from the loads and remain constant for the whole time the transformer is connected to the electrical grid.
