"I wanted to challenge the classic shape of a globe and see if I could give it a new character and function. It was important to create a lamp that gives a good light and is useful in many different spaces and contexts. Since the classic constellation globe inspires the floor lamp, I wanted it to be adjustable so that the user could change the light and expression of the lamp.
