Product catalog summary
General Information
The Formboard top pine® panels are high-density fibreboards bonded with polyurethane, suitable for external applications due to their moisture resistance. They are available in 10 and 18 mm thickness and can be laser-cut to precise dimensions with a variety of color coatings. The panels should not exceed 1300 mm in smaller dimensions if coating is required.

Advantages
  • Noise absorption of over 50%.
  • Billing based on net size, minimizing wastage.
  • Precise laser cutting for custom patterns without additional cost.
  • Wide color options with excellent lightfastness.
  • Moisture-resistant and ready-to-install with drill holes and cut-outs.

Storage and Sorting
Panels must be stored in a protected location with dry PU-foam foils between them to prevent paint damage from water.

Data Submission for Orders
Orders require submission of DWG/DXF or Cadwork files with specific drawing requirements, including separate layers for Bruag panels and 1:1 scale drawings.

Custom Patterns
Custom patterns must be submitted as CAD drawings with continuous, closed contours and clear scale indications. Additional processing costs may apply.

Fixing Distances
For 18 mm thick panels, fixing distances vary based on panel width, with specific minimum and maximum distances outlined. Drill holes are typically 6 mm in diameter, and panels are fixed using façade screws or alternative fastenings provided by the contractor.

Design Notes
The design should allow for a substructure of wood or metal profiles, with fleece or felt and a 30 mm insulation layer. A cavity of 30 to 50 mm is recommended for noise absorption.

Details and Connections
Design should include a shadow gap and edge gap for efficient construction, especially in rectangular areas.

Schematic
The schematic outlines the panel setup, including fleece or felt backing, insulation, and construction frame.

Details and Connections The overall design should be at least 80 mm, ideally 100 mm. The substructure can be made using wood or metal profiles. Formboard top pine® panels are covered first with a fleece or felt and then with a layer of insulation of 30 mm thickness. The cavity behind should be 30 to 50 mm to absorb low-pitched noise. Section Design Section with Shadow Gap Section with Edge Gap For rectangular areas, it is recommended that the structure be set away from the edge on all sides by approx. 100 mm. This makes design and construction more efficient, especially inside buildings. Section:...
