Our CELLON®-panel is a Compact High-Pressure Laminate Panel (HPL) consisting of 70% cellulose sheets and 30% phenolic resin. The weather-resistant material is excellently suited for perforated elements. We use unprocessed HPL panels, which are cut to the exact size by laser. The coating is applied after cutting and it is primarily a visual element. Depending on the perforation and the distance between the fixing points, 8 or 10 mm thick panels are used.

Panels without Perforation Fixing Distances Panel without Perforation The diameter of the drill holes is usually 8 mm (fastener + min. 2 mm). The screws supplied by Bruag are of the type "self-tapping facade screw with hexagonal head and sealing washer”, diameter 4.8 mm. Alternatively, rivets may be used. These must be provided by the contractor and must comply with the applicable requirements. Painting by Bruag AG is possible. COUNTERSUNK SCREWS MUST NOT BE USED! Perforated Panels For panel widths of 1500 mm or more, it is essential to provide a vertically continuous centre-support to have a complete row of fixings. Minimum width of support 30 mm. If several panels are connected, 4-6 mm must be allowed for the panel joint. In this case, the support for the screw connection must be at least 70 mm.
