Product catalog summary
General Information
The document outlines the specifications for privacy screens made from CELLON® panels, which are high-pressure laminate panels composed of 70% cellulose and 30% phenolic resin. These panels are weather-resistant and suitable for perforated elements. They are available in thicknesses of 8 or 10 mm, with a maximum width of 1300 mm for non-perforated panels.
Advantages
The CELLON® panels offer several benefits, including precise laser cutting, a wide range of perforation patterns, custom patterns at no extra cost, a large selection of colors, and resistance to moisture, frost, and termites. They are lightweight, ready-to-install, and FSC certified.
Storage and Sorting
It is crucial to store CELLON® panels upright in a protected location to prevent coating damage. Panels should not be stored flat or horizontally outside, as water can soften the coating.
Data Submission for Orders
Orders require submission of CAD files in DWG or DXF formats. Panels must be drawn on a separate layer with a 1:1 scale, and all contours must be closed cleanly.
Fixing Distances
For panels without perforation, specific distances are provided for fixing points. The document specifies the use of self-tapping facade screws and prohibits the use of countersunk screws.
Design Notes
Design considerations include fixing distances for both perforated and non-perforated panels, with additional support required for panels wider than 1500 mm.
Frame Construction
Details are provided for frame constructions that can be covered on one or two sides with panels, with options for intermediate layers.
Contact Information
Contact details for Bruag AG, the manufacturer, are provided for further inquiries.

External Applications Privacy Screens for Balconies Privacy Screens for Balconies made from CELLON® Panels Version 1.0 General Information Individual panel segmentation within the following design sizes: The maximum width for panels without perforation is 1300 mm. Our CELLON®-panel is a Compact High-Pressure Laminate Panel (HPL) consisting of 70% cellulose sheets and 30% phenolic resin. The weather-resistant material is excellently suited for perforated elements. We use unprocessed HPL panels, which are cut to the exact size by laser. The coating is applied after cutting and it is primarily a visual element. Depending on the perforation and the distance between the fixing points, 8 or 10 mm thick panels are used.

Perforated Panels For panel widths of 1500 mm or more, it is essential to provide a vertically continuous centre-support to have a complete row of fixings. Minimum width of support 30 mm. If several panels are connected, 4-6 mm must be allowed for the panel joint. In this case, the support for the screw connection must be at least 70 mm.
