Challenge
Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center faced ongoing maintenance issues with its patient care lavatory fixtures. The engineering team was hesitant to replace the units due to past performance concerns, while nurses advocated for combination lavatory and water closet modules due to space constraints.

Solution
After evaluating options, the Medical Center selected the Bradley LavCare™ 750 Series for two patient floors. The decision was influenced by the product's quality and ease of installation. The Bradley units feature a pivoting toilet and a Terreon® solid surface lavatory deck, which is resistant to chemicals, stains, and impact, with no crevices for germ buildup.

Upgrading Patient Care
The new fixtures improved nurse productivity by allowing them to perform handwashing and waste disposal without leaving the room. The compact design provides a tidy appearance and ample space for patient care. The automatic sink and spray attachment were noted as particularly beneficial.

Since installation, the Medical Center has experienced no maintenance issues with the Bradley units, leading to high satisfaction and recommendations for similar facilities.
