Installation Guidelines for Boralit Separators

1. General Installation Instructions:
For categories C 1.4, C 2.4, C 3.4, and C 4, install the facility close to the contamination source to prevent feeder pipe blockages. The pit should be 15-20 cm broader and deeper than the tank dimensions. Ensure all water is pumped out before adding consolidated sand, which should be at least 15 cm thick at the bottom. The facility should be level, filled with water, and connected to the drainpipe with proper ventilation. Backfill with consolidated sand and install PE-risers to ground level. If vehicles are nearby, a concrete slab should be used to divert pressure.

2. Installation in Regular Sand:
For categories C1.2, C2.2, and C3.2, if no groundwater is present, regular sand can replace consolidated sand. Ensure Boralit covers are used for safety as PE covers are temporary and cannot support weight.

3. Maintenance:
Regular checks and cleaning of mud traps and separators are advised. The separator's float system closes the drain when full, necessitating regular cleaning.

4. Warranty:
Boralit offers a 10-year warranty on facilities against manufacturing faults, void if installation guidelines are not followed. Mechanical and electrical parts have a 2-year warranty.

5. Appendices:
Technical specifications and calculations for various traps and separators, as well as alarm systems, are available on demand.

6. Contact Information:
Direct numbers for sales, logistics, and accounting departments are provided for further assistance.
