bocad-PS integrates project processes from preliminary planning to erection. All modules such as nestings or delivery notes are based onto a unique object oriented data base (objectivity). This concept ensures the integrity and the uniqueness of all the information. Each item (project, assembly, physical part, transport means, bar, worker, ) inside bocad-PS possesses a Unique Identifier giving the possibility to associate any user defined information. bocad-PS is homogeneous to bocad-3D where all geometrical information is imported from (weldings, contour markings, assemblies, fastenings, Ņ). bocad-PS is composed of a basic module used in combination of a set of optional and independent modules allowing a full integration inside an already existing workshop management. >

The Basic ModuleӔ contains a set of functionalities allowing to accomplish common operations with bocad-PS . This module is based on the task definition and connection (which is part of the basic module of bocad-PS). The objective of this module is to define the whole fabrication process for each item. An item can be a single part, an assembly, a plate nesting or a bar nesting. A process can be the detailing, the optimisation, the cutting out, the drilling, the painting, the welding, the delivery on erection site, . The Delivery Notes are generated from assemblies stored inside a pre-defined erection phase, from a nested drawing or from the project. This can be done by an alphanumerical filter or a graphical selection. You can also compose your truck first and simply scan the content to generate the delivery notes. A database defining the means of transport allows you to manage the characteristics of the trucks and their availability.
