Technical Data Model Number CURVED SHOWER CURTAIN ROD Standard Mounting Height off Floor for 72" Bobrick Shower Curtain and Hooks Finish Face of Wall to Finish Face of Wall MATERIALS: Tubing — 1" diameter, 20 gauge stainless steel, seamless construction with exposed surfaces in architectural satin finish. Swivel Brackets — Chrome-plated zinc die-cast construction with exposed surfaces in architectural satin finish. Maximum 55 degree swivel rotation. INSTALLATION: Place pivoting mounting bracket assemblies onto ends of curved shower curtain rod the same distance each end, with set screw bosses oriented in the downward direction. Insert set screws (2) provided by manufacturer into set screw bosses and thread them in loosely. While holding curved shower curtain rod assembly in final desired mounting location, securely tighten set screws, with Allen wrench provided, to retain pivoting mounting brackets to rod, and mark desired locations of pivoting mounting brackets on walls. Disassemble wall mounting plate portions of the mounting brackets by removing the Phillips-head screws (2 each) from the top and bottom of the bracket assemblies. For plaster or drywall construction, provide concealed backing to comply with local building codes, then secure mounting plate portion of mounting brackets to walls in marked locations with #8 x 1-1/2" (38mm) Phillips-head screws (4) provided by manufacturer. For other wall surfaces, use fiber plugs or expansion shields for use with screws furnished, or provide 1/8" (3mm) toggle bolts or expansion bolts. Position curtain rod assembly in place and secure pivot sections of mounting brackets to mounting plates by replacing the Phillips-head screws (4) at top and bottom of mounting brackets. SPECIFICATION: Shower curtain rod shall be 20-gauge (1.0mm) stainless steel with satin finish. It shall have an outside diameter of 1" (25mm). Swivel Brackets shall be chrome-plated zinc die cast construction with exposed surfaces in architectural satin finish.
