Technical specifications Jetfib'ouate is a thermal and acoustic insulation made of cellulose wadding from recycled newspapers. It is applied by pouring, blowing, injection or projection. Jetfib'ouate is particularly recommended for insulating inaccessible, cold attic spaces. Its quick and efficient application means savings are made both in time and money. Cellulose wadding is an ecological and recyclable material made from carefully sorted recycled newspapers or cuts of new paper from the printing advantages, cellulose wadding provides excellent thermal and phonic insulation. Micro-organism resistant and rot-proof, it is open to water vapour diffusion. All these qualities mean that cellulose wadding is one of the best insulation materials in terms of ecological and technical value for money. Compared with synthetic materials, cellulose wadding insulation requires very little energy for production and thus helps to protect the environment. Use of cellulose wadding therefore fully complies with low environmental impact sustainable development by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. High insulating capability ^jjp Thermal phase shift Humidity control Specific qualities of Jetfib'ouate • The cellulose fibres are treated with sodium borate or ammonium phos- phate, which have been known for their fungicidal and fire retardantproper- ties since ancient times. • These features make Jetfib' an extremely resistant insulation that does not attract rodents or insects and is mould-resistant. When used inyourhome, it therefore protects wooden structures that it comes into contact with (walls, roof structure, floors). Thicknesses / packaging Jetfib'measuring gauge Jetfib'ouate bags come with measuring gauges which are used as markers during blowing (in attic spaces). These gauges enable the fibres to be evenly distributed while ensuring the required thickness is applied (graduations in cm and R-values). • manual pouring (between joists), • blowing (inaccessible, unconverted attic spaces), • injection (double walls, cavities), • projection (acoustic flocking). Its application brings great savings both in terms of time and money: • Quick and easy application in one layer • no storage or handling on-site • no cutting or strips to join Fibre size means even the smallest and hardest to reach areas are filled, providing op- timum insulation without thermal breaks or uncontrolled settling.
