WORKSHOP@DESiGN-APART NEW YORK BertO and Design-Apart Manhattan together organized a design workshop to identify the components of the “ideal sofa” for the residents of NY. The event involved 10 international designers who worked collectively for an entire weekend at the Design-Apart loft showroom in Manhattan.

PROTOTYPING @BertO Laboratory Meda Italy The winning design was selected and delivered to the BertO Fine Upholstery Tailoring Laboratory. A team of carpenters, upholsterers and turners made the first prototype of the Sofa4Manhattan in only two weeks. From an idea they created the final product.
