UNIVERSAL CEMENT ADHESIVE/SOOTHER FOR GLUING AND LEVELLING OPERATIONS INDOORS AND OUTDOORS. COLOR GREY. PRODUCT AND FIELDS OF APPLICATION RASACEMG is a premixed cement adhesive/soother in grey powder. The presence inside of the formulation of selected silico-calcareous aggregates, mineral fillers, high resistance Portland cement, co-polymers and specific additives, make RASACEMG particularly workable and easy to lay down. RASACEMG is suitable for gluing and soothing out insulation panels for coating systems in polystyrene, cork, glass wool, rock wool, calcium silicate, etc., as well as for the carrying out of soothing operations with and without reinforcement mesh in glass fibre. PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE RASACEMG is suitable for gluing and soothing as well as for the carrying out of soothing operations with and without reinforcement mesh in glass fibre. Before laying down RASACEMG, make sure that the surface (brick, full or hollow concrete and expanded clay blocks, autoclaved concrete blocks, concrete, precast concrete, cement-based plasterworks, plastic coatings) is free of loose or flaking parts, without dust, oils and/or grease, particulate matter (smog), mould or moss. Where coatings are already present, make sure they adhere well to the surface, otherwise have them removed and/or consolidated. PREPARATION OF THE PRODUCT A bag of RASACEMG of 25 kg is to be mixed with the addition of 6,5 to 6,8 litres (26 – 27%) of clean water by means of a mechanical mixer at low rpm (whip drill) or by hand with a metal trowel until obtaining a plastic, homogeneous consistency that is free of lumps. In both cases, the mixing time must not exceed 5 minutes, after which leave the mixture thus obtained for at least 10 minutes to give the possibility to the additives present in the formula to get activated. Afterwards, lay the product down with the metal (American) spatula, stirring the mixture for another few minutes. It is possible to apply RASACEMG in thicknesses of 5 mm for a single coat up to a maximum of 10 mm. The surface can be floated either manually or mechanically with a sponge float until obtaining a “functioning” finish, ready to receive any kind of coloured finishing product.
