RASAGYPSFAST-SCAGLIOLA - 1

GYPSUM-BASED SMOOTHER FOR INTERIORS PRODUCT AND FIELDS OF APPLICATION RASAGYPS FAST-SCAGLIOLA is a pre-mixed soothing product in a white-coloured powder made up of calcium sulphate hemihydrate obtained from the baking of gypsum rock. RASAGYPS FAST-SCAGLIOLA is a finishing product for interiors applicable to any type of bottom plaster based on gypsum or lime/cement, both for walls and the ceiling, without the need to apply products which act as an “anchor bridge”, guaranteeing in any case perfect adhesion of the finishing product to the substrate. PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE RASAGYPS FAST-SCAGLIOLA is a finishing product for interiors applicable to any type of bottom plaster based on gypsum or lime/cement Before proceeding with the laying out of RASAGYPS FAST-SCAGLIOLA, make sure that the surface is free of loose or flaking parts, without dust, oils and/or grease, mould or moss. Where coatings are already present, make sure they adhere well to the surface, otherwise have them removed and/or consolidated. PREPARATION OF THE PRODUCT RASAGYPS FAST-SCAGLIOLA is prepared by following the technique normally used for the traditional scagliola. The product in powder is “sown” slowly along the water and you must stir (until obtaining the right consistency) only the portion of mixture ready to use, in doing so the mixture remains usable for up to 60 minutes after being prepared. RASAGYPS FAST-SCAGLIOLA is applied manually with a metal (American) spatula in thicknesses between 3 and 10 mm, operating so as to obtain a flat and smooth surface. Any cavities and joints are to be filled and regularized in advance using RASAGYPS FAST-SCAGLIOLA, which however must be left to harden before proceeding with the actual finishing operation. In working on subsequent layers and in order to avoid “pounding” phenomena, it is necessary to apply the second coat when the previous one has still not completely hardened; if it has, it is necessary to wait until it is complete dry. We recommend applying RASAGYPS FAST-SCAGLIOLA in a thickness that is as uniform as possible, and not less than 3 mm, so as to obtain a complete coverage of the bottom plaster. Before painting, make sure that the surface finished off with RASAGYPS FAST-SCAGLIOLA is completely dry.
