ALKYD ROAD MARKING PAINT Fast drying, alkyd road marking paint Description Special, high quality alkyd paint for road marking and for painting concrete and industrial floors, with very good resistance to weather changes and mechanical stress. For achieving higher reflectivity, special reflective spheres may be used. Product Characteristics • Very good adhesion. • High opacity and coverage. • Harmonized with directive 2004/42/EC. Application Instructions Thin with Berling’s Solvent E at a percentage up to 20% by volume and then stir well before use. The surfaces to be painted must be dry and clean. Apply with special equipment for marking roads, by brush or roller. Apply at temperatures from 100C to 350C and maximum relative humidity 80%. For achieving higher reflectivity, after applying the product and before it dries spread the reflective spheres on the wet coat, at a proportion 2 parts of paint and one part of reflective spheres. After use, clean tools with Berling’s Solvent E. Manage eluants as hazardous waste in accordance with the valid legislation and the local regulation. Specific Gravity: 1.56 - 1.60 (ISO 2811), depending on the shade. Viscosity: 100 - 110 K.U., 250C (ASTM D562). Coverage: 9 - 10m2/lt. Solvent: Solvent E. Thinning: Thin with Solvent E at a percentage up to 20% by volume. Application: By brush or roller. Drying time: Touch dry after 10 to 20 minutes (the drying time might be elongated according to temperature and humidity conditions).
