Thanks to the interface between Bartech and the hotel’s property management system, the front desk staff will receive information during check-out as to whether or not an item has been forgotten on the electronic courtesy box. This information is provided by the ‘pop up screen’ which is available as a standard feature in Bartech’s Winbart ™. software, The pop up screen provides an accurate real-time overview of the status of all products inside the mini-bar. With the detection capability of the electronic courtesy box, hoteliers are always sure to provide a clean mini-bar. Furthermore, and due to the electronic control, the housekeeping staff only checks those minibars which were opened by guests, thereby adding to the labour-savings features of the system.
