History The wood industry evolved in Barlinek already in the 19th century. Until the the end of the World War II a sawmill, a carpentry shop and a furniture manufacture operated. There were also other sawmills that after the War merged into one company: the Wood Company of the National Forest Holding „The State Forest” in Barlinek. At the beginning the sawmills processed coniferous and deciduous timber. Wood processing capacity reached around 100 m3 per day.
