Product Overview: The Multipor
insulation board, previously known as the Multipor mineral insulation board, is a solid, mineral, monolithic
thermal insulation material made primarily of calcium silicate hydrates. It is authorized under the European Technical Assessment ETA-05/0093.
Composition: The board is composed of lime, sand, cement, water, a pore-forming agent, a hydrophobising agent, and a primer, with a porosity of approximately 95% by volume.
Applications: The board is suitable for various applications including interior
wall insulation, ceiling insulation for underground car parks and cellars, thermal insulation for pitched and flat roofs, external thermal insulation composite systems, and plinth insulation systems.
Product Dimensions: Standard dimensions are 600 x 390 mm with thicknesses ranging from 50 mm to 300 mm. Special formats are available upon request.
Thermal Conductivity: The nominal value of thermal conductivity varies based on application and thickness, ranging from 0.040 W/(mK) to 0.045 W/(mK).
Physical Properties: The raw density ranges from 90 kg/m³ to 115 kg/m³, and compressive strength ranges from ≥ 200 kPa to ≥ 350 kPa. The material is open to diffusion with a water vapour diffusion resistance of μ = 2 to 3.
Fire Safety: Classified as non-combustible (Building material class A1) with a melting point of ≥ 1,200°C.
Environmental Certifications: The product holds several certifications including the IBU e.V. environmental product declaration, natureplus quality mark, and eco-Institute label for being VOC-free.
Disposal: The boards can be disposed of in class II landfill sites according to the European Waste Catalogue code 17 01 01.
