JEST SHELVES by Tanju Özelgin Materials: Jest shelves (bookcase) is produced from 15x15mm square metal profile. Profiles are cut and welded each other. Static painting colors are finishing alternatives. Wooded boxes are made from 18mm mdf. It can be produces as veneer or lacquer. There is a Box veneer Wooden box is made from veneer which is pressed to the 18mm mdf. It is varnished by matte polyurethane lac. Hinged door of the box is open with push-pull mechanism. Box lacquer Lacquer box is made from 18mm mdf. it is covered with polyurethane primer filler and sandpapered. After having a flat and smooth surface polyurethane matte painting is applied and left for chemical hardening. Glass Shelves: 8mm glass edges are bevelled after cutting. Clear, smoky, clear sanded, black painted and clear laminated alternatives are av ailable.
