Overview: Ultrax is an optimized Windows CE 5.0 platform featuring a 312MHz PXA270 ARM CPU, 64MB Flash, and 64MB SDRAM. It supports SD/MMC and USB memory, and includes a wide TFT 16:10 touchscreen housed in a splash-proof case. The device integrates RFID, barcode, and magnetic card readers, and supports various Automatic Identification technologies.
Hardware Features: The Ultrax includes a 7" TFT touchscreen display with 65,000 colors, an ABS casing with environmental protection, and an 18-key alphanumeric membrane keyboard. It has two USB 1.1 host ports, an SD/MMC slot, and supports multiple RFID standards. Communication ports include Ethernet, RS485, and RS232. It features physical input/outputs, a microphone, speaker, and a backup battery. The device is powered by 9-56V DC/AC and has optional WiFi and
fingerprint reader capabilities.
Software Features: The platform is based on Windows CE 5.0 and includes a web browser, file server, remote desktop client, and web server. It supports AXESS TMC Automatic Identification drivers and the TRACK: TRAX+G compatibility kit. The .NET 2.0 Compact framework and optional SQL CE/Mobile synchronizable database are also included.
