Functional Characteristics
The OP-PA01 is a battery-based power supply module designed for wall-mounting, capable of delivering 1A at 14V to power an XPoint with a reader. It can operate on battery power for up to 4 hours in energy recovery mode with the display off. The unit includes overload protection with battery disconnection at 10V and can be connected in parallel with other power supplies. It features visual indicators for main power and battery state, and connects to XPoint via an RJ45 connection.

Protection
The OP-PA01 is protected against polarity reversal on RJ45 cables, voltage surges in the incoming power supply, and temporary short-circuits on the output.

Modes of Operation
The unit can power one XPoint and its associated reader.

Visual Indicators
The OP-PA01 uses red and green LEDs to signal its status. A steady green LED indicates main power is on, while a flashing green LED indicates main power is off. A flashing red LED signals quick charging, and a steady red LED indicates an imminent switch-off.

Technical Details
The unit measures 240x160x55mm and weighs 1100g. It accepts an input voltage from 180VAC to 250VAC at 50Hz or 60Hz, with a maximum power consumption of 150mA at 230VAC. The start-up current is a maximum of 500mA at 230VAC for less than 2 seconds. Output voltage ranges from 14VDC to 14.5VDC when powered by mains, and from 10VDC to 14VDC when operating on battery. The maximum output current is 1.1A, with a peak of 1.8A for no more than 2 minutes. The operating temperature range is 0 to 40°C, with relative humidity up to 95% without condensation. The unit is designed for vertical wall-mounting and includes terminals for a 230V input cable and an RJ45 connection for the FD-BUS cable. It features input fuses of 0.5A 250V T and a battery fuse of 2.5A 250V T.
