Product catalog summary
Overview: The OrangeLink FD-DA02 is a 4 IN / 4 OUT module designed for sensor data acquisition and actuator control, such as sirens and electrical locks. It is mountable on DIN rails and supports both dry and supervised contact data acquisition.
Functional Characteristics:
  • Mountable on DIN rails.
  • Acquires data from dry contacts and supervised sensors with five states (normal, alarm, tamper, cut circuit, short-circuit).
  • Controls resistive and inductive loads up to 2.5 ADC (1.8 AAC) per channel with optional relays.
  • Monitors outputs and generates alarms for faults.
  • Monitors FD-PA01 power supply module for electrical parameters and battery tests.
  • Visual fault and alarm indication through LEDs.
  • Connects to FD-BUS via RJ45 with galvanic separation from local ground.
Protection:
  • Protected against polarity reversal, voltage surges, and negative voltage peaks.
Modes of Operation:
  • Dry contact acquisition mode for 8 contacts.
  • Supervised contact acquisition mode for 4 sensors managing five states.
Visual Indicators:
  • Green LED for operation.
  • Red LED for alarms/faults.
  • Yellow LED for communication.

FD-DA02-1

OrangeLink FD-DA02 4 IN / 4 OUT Module – 6 units DIN rail Functional characteristics FD-DA02 is a module for the acquisition of sensors data and to command actuators devices like sirens, electrical locks, etc with the following characteristics: ♦ Can be mounted on DIN rails ♦ Data acquisition from dry contacts (ON/OFF) ♦ Data acquisition from supervised sensors managing 5 states per sensor (normal, alarm, tamper, cut circuit, short-circuit), and inject pseudo-random interference in order to prevent level detection from the outside. ♦ Able to control resistive and inductive loads up to 4 loads, from 0.3ADC (0.2 AAC) up to 2.5 ADC (1.8AAC) per channel adding optional relays) ♦ Output monitoring, with alarm generation in the event of faults ♦ Able to monitor a FD-PA01 power supply module through a suitable connection, for all the main electrical parameters including the battery effectiveness tests. ♦ Visual fault and/or alarm indication ♦ Connection to FD-BUS through an RJ45 connection ♦ Double RJ45 connector (internally in parallel) for easy reconnection to the FD-BUS. ♦ Galvanic separation of the FD-BUS backbone from the local reference ground ♦ Possibility of connecting the FD-BUS remote power supply to the local power supply through jumpers. Protection The equipment is protected against the following events: ♦ polarity reversal on the cables (RJ45) connecting to the FD-BUS ♦ voltage surge in the power supply ♦ negative voltage peaks at outputs with inductive loads Modes of Operation The FD-DA01 module is part of the Orangelink system and can perform the data acquisition functions related to the status of sensors and/or contacts, and control electrolocks and/or turnstiles. The module can operate in two different modes: ♦ In dry contact (access control) acquisition mode, the module can acquire the status data from 8 contacts. ♦ In supervised contact acquisition mode (intrusion dtection and access control), the module can acquire the status data from 4 sensors, and manage the 5 possible states (normal, alarm, tamper, cut, short-circuit). Visual indicators The FD-DA01 module can give the user indications The most common indications are as follows: by means of: ♦ Green LED, lit steadily when in operation ♦ a red LED ♦ Red LED, lit steadily in the event of an alarm and/or fault ♦ a yellow LED ♦ Yellow LED, flashes during communication (one flash per message) ♦ a green LED FD-DA02-DS-02-en.doc Pg. 1/2
