AX GATE is a flexible controller completely configurable through an intuitive WEB interface. His advanced technology makes it the perfect device for high demanding access control applications where compact size and excellent performance price ratio are required. Up to 2 readers among a wide range of identification technologies can be directly connected to AX GATE that can fully manage different types of gates with his 8 balanced INPUTS and 4 RELAYS. AX GATE can control up to 2 independent gates (Q2 2013) or up to 8 independent gates (Q3 2013) using AX MAX boards connected as slaves to the RS485 port. AX GATE is a powerful ethernet controller congurable through a common WEB browser or uploading text les via FTP. It can be managed in real time by an HTTP server: AX GATE receives HTTP commands from the server and sends HTTP messages containing input variations or badge readings. AX GATE manages 2 independent gates with separate access control criteria: Flap door, turnstile or security booth. Adding AX MAX (Q2 2013) on his RS485 encrypted line, up to 8 gates can be managed each with an entry reader and an exit button. Thanks to the internal 2GB microSD memory, both the number of users and the number of transactions that can be stored exceed any practical need and are therefore limited only by processing time in case of tens of thousands users. OPERATING MODE • Online: a server receives all access requests via HTTP and can allow or deny gate activation. In case of connection failure, transactions are locally managed and stored in the internal message. A special http message periodically warns about the presence of records in the internal memory. • Ofine: according to access tables specic for each controlled gate. Time zones, authorization groups and user name can be dened. Transactions are recorded in a text le in internal SD memory: record format is congurable to match most of the payroll software applications.
