Product catalog summary
Introduction
The document provides technical specifications for AV Composites' Technobond insulating panels, highlighting their industrial bonding technology, mechanical performance, and quality assurance. Technobond is designed for use in various climatic conditions due to its strong adhesive power.

Applications
Technobond panels are suitable for use on metallic (e.g., steel, aluminum) and organic supports (e.g., PE foam, PU), excluding PVC. They are used in sandwich panels, vertical fillings, and other structural applications.

Panel Constitution
The panels consist of extruded polystyrene foam with a thermal conductivity of 0.028 W/m.K, a rubber-based adhesive, and silicone paper. The adhesive is translucent amber with high tack properties.

Assembly Instructions
For optimal adhesion, surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease. Recommended solvents include isopropyl alcohol and heptane. Application pressure enhances contact and resistance. The ideal application temperature range is 15°C to 40°C.

Panel Thickness and Properties
Available thicknesses are 20.5 mm, 25 mm, and 30 mm. Thermal loss coefficients and resistances vary with thickness, with a softening point of approximately 110°C and a SAFR of 70°C. The panels have a peel strength of approximately 35 N/m² and a fire classification of M1.

Dimensions and Weight
The panels measure 1000 mm in width and 3000 mm in length, with weights ranging from 1.4 kg/m² to 1.7 kg/m² depending on thickness.

Guarantees and Recommendations
The product has a shelf life of 12 months when stored between 10°C and 35°C. AV Composites provides civil insurance but disclaims responsibility for misuse. Users are advised to conduct tests before use, as conditions and methods are beyond the company's control. Modifications to specifications may occur without notice.
