Astep was founded in 2014 by Alessandro Sarfatti to create and curate timeless inventions with an innovative approach. Acknowledging the importance of continuously re efining, d refining and remembering timeless designs, Astep retains its edge by introducing new designs with advancing technologies with the Evolution Collection. With the Tribute Collection, Astep reissues selected lighting designs as the timeless masterpieces of Gino Sarfatti in the Gino Sarfatti Collection and the works of established architects and designers who worked for the lighting company he founded, Arteluce.

The essence of evolution is to capture the best of what has been and let it evolve into the heart of what is to come. Thus, Astep continues on the path devised by two great entrepreneurs. Like all good Italian tales, mine is also a family affair and draws from father to son.
