Metal-Roll Door Albany RapidRoll® F PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The double-walled, insulated profiles are filled with Styropor. The upper surface is sheet smooth and weather-proof. The individual profiles are secured against sideways movement by means of plastic end pieces, and roll up on to a steel shaft. This corresponds to the permitted bend of max. T 1/500. Axle-bearing is on lateral consoles. Lateral guide rails are made of galvanized steel. The depth of the guide rails corresponds to VOB 18535. The bottom profile is fitted with a hollow-chamber rubber section that seal against the floor....

These special doors are needed when the roll door provides the only access to the space, as an escape route, or where there is regular pedestrian traffic.
