Its modifications result from the requirements of the ČSN EN 12255 European Standard, parts 1–16. The WWTP is designed for treatment of sewage from businesses, hotels, plants, residential districts and parts of municipalities. An advantage of the WWTP is its easy adaptation to local conditions and a simple design of the technology. WWTP’s of larger sizes can be achieved by combination of more basic type units (e.g. a WWTP for 300 PE consists of two WWTP’s units for 150 PE) or through a customized design – the manufacturer needs to be consulted.
