Product catalog summary

Document Overview:
This technical document appears to relate to a wastewater treatment or sludge management system, with references to ISO 9001 quality certification and components such as aeration, surplus sludge handling, and recirculation during holiday periods.

1. Quality Certification

The system or process described is certified under ISO 9001, indicating adherence to international quality management standards. The certification is issued by ASIO.

2. System Components and Layout

  • Aeration: The process includes aeration units, likely for biological treatment or sludge stabilization.
  • Surplus Sludge: There is a designated handling or removal of surplus sludge, which is a byproduct of the treatment process.
  • Holiday-Period Recirculation: The system includes a recirculation feature specifically for holiday periods, suggesting operational adjustments during low activity or shutdown times.
  • Inlet and Outlet: Clear identification of inlet and outlet points for flow management.
  • Structural Elements: The system is supported by reinforced concrete slabs, indicating robust construction standards.
  • Elevation References: Mentions of natural ground level, unit bottom level, and basic height (W) suggest detailed design parameters for installation and operation.

3. Design Parameters

The document references specific dimensions such as "1320" (likely millimeters) and labels like "a" and "b" which may correspond to design measurements or sectional views. These parameters are critical for ensuring proper installation and function.

4. Operational Notes

The inclusion of holiday-period recirculation indicates a recommended operational practice to maintain system stability during periods of reduced inflow or inactivity.

Summary

This document outlines a wastewater or sludge treatment system certified to ISO 9001 standards, emphasizing quality and robust construction. Key features include aeration, surplus sludge management, and operational adaptations for holiday periods. Structural and dimensional details support proper installation and function.

DOMESTIC WASTEWATER AS-VARIOcomp K, AS-VARIOcomp K ECO and AS-VARIOcomp K ULTRA Certification CE according to EU legislation Complete supply (all included in the price) Thermally-insulated, lockable and trafficable manhole cover; design in two colours Easy handling in service and operating reliability Customer support and services rendered over the whole territory of the Europe Possibility of easy upgrading from a conventional wastewater treatment unit to the ULTRA type by building-in the membrane module If the ULTRA type is used, the clarified effluent can be utilised as service water The type range of complete domestic wastewater treatment systems dedicated for treatment of sewage from family houses. The process design of these wastewater treatment systems is based on stable and reliable operations at a minimum energy demand. This technology utilises aerobic biological processes wellproven in long-term service. TECHNOLOGY DESCRIPTION Domestic wastewater enters the settling tank (A) in the head part of the waste- water treatment system, where floating and settleable solids are removed and consequently treated in the aerobic degradation process. From the settling space, the mechanically pre-treated water stream enters, over the overflow, the activation tank (B). The activation tank (B) is used for the bio- logical treatment of wastewater. In its bottom section, the tank is fitted with a fine bubble aeration system, into which the air is blown by the blower, and, as the case may be, by the biomass carrier (C), which improves the process stability in overloaded or little used wastewater treatment units. Another advantage is represented by the storage tank (D) in the space over the whole system, which is dedicated for the wastewater accumulation and that, in turn, provides for more uniform effluent outflow from the unit. From the activation process, the activated mixture flows to the up-flow settlement tank (E), from where the purified effluent is drawn off by the airlift pump (also called mammoth pump) (F) into the effluent trough. The surplus of the aerobically stabilised sludge is drawn off by the airlift pump to the settling and sludge tank MODERN, QUALITY AND ECOLOGICAL PRODUCTS

AS-VARIOcomp K-3

The system is purported for the treatment of wastewater from permanently inhabited buildings, in the capacity for 3 to 25 population equivalent units. This wastewater treatment system is fitted with a membrane-based technology capable of removing a major part of viruses and germs from the purified water. By its quality, the purified water is comparable with rainwater and therefore suitable for irrigation as well as domestic sanitary water. PROCESS DESCRIPTION Wastewater enters the settling tank (A) in the head part of the wastewater treatment system, where floating and settleable solids are removed...

INSTALLATION OF WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS The wastewater treatment system is installed to an excavation pit on a concrete slab (no concrete encasement is necessary), connected over the tube socket to the sewer and air supply from the blower located outside the system is brought in. Basic functions are already set up at the manufacturer's place and - apart from the plugging the blower in - no wiring works are necessary. The system commissioning is carried out by the supplier or an authorised service centre. Owing to the unit dimensions and weight, the 5 and 8 EO types can be transported by...
