Product catalog summary
Overview: The AS–ASLI WWTP technology is designed for the separation of water-dilutable paints and starch adhesives from industrial wastewater, applicable in industries such as automotive, paper, wood, furniture, construction, textile, and printing. The process involves chemical stabilization, coagulation, sedimentation, filtration, and dewatering, with pre-treated water discharged into sewage systems.
Key Features:
  • Minimal built-up area and can be placed near production sites.
  • Capable of separating adhesives and paints through different procedures.
  • Utilizes existing tanks and pipe systems, reducing operational intensity and costs.
  • Economical return expected within 1-3 years.
Process Description: Wastewater is homogenized in an accumulation tank, mixed with a low-speed mixer, and pumped into a coagulative-sedimentation reactor. The pH is adjusted using an alkalite stabilizer, and pollutants are coagulated with a coagulant. An organic flocculant enhances filtration and dewatering, ensuring the treated water meets standards for further biological treatment.
Technological Scheme Components:
  • Coagulative reactor
  • Accumulation tank
  • Dewatering of coagulated pollution
  • Homogenization sludge tank
  • Stabilizer for pH correction
  • Preparation of coagulant and flocculant
  • Mechanical pre-treatment
  • Pipe mixer
  • Collecting tank
  • Container
  • Sludge pumps
  • Post-treatment filter
  • Underground dewatering tank
  • Outlet into sewage canalisation
Advantages: The system is not operation-intensive, avoids penalties for discharging polluted wastewater, and has minimal operation costs.
Reference Implementations: The technology has been implemented in various industries, including paper (MORApack s.r.o., ORPA, a.s.), textile (MAXIS, a.s.), furniture (JITONA, a.s.), automotive (Collins & Aikman, VALEO Compressor, s.r.o.), construction (HET spol. s r.o., KM – BETA, s.r.o.), wood (KRONODOOR, a.s.), and printing (CVM MORAVIA, s.r.o.).

INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT AS–ASLI WWTP TECHNOLOGY The technology under the trade-mark of AS–ASLI WWTP enables to separate water-dilutable paints and starch adhesives from industrial wastewater in the production process. Futher, this technology may be used to treat wastewater containing cutting emulsions, e.g. in automotive industry. The principle of the treatment consists of chemical stabilization, coagulation, sedimentation and subsequent filtration and dewatering in a filter-press. The pre-treated water is discharged into a sewage canalisation. Advantages • minimal built-up area • possible to be placed near the production • possible to separate adhesives as well as paints in different technological procedures ASIO • possible to use existing tanks and pipe systems • not operation-intensive • no penalties for discharging polluted wastewater ASIO • minimal operation costs • economical return in cca 1–3 years Possible to use in following industrial brances • textile industry • printing industry • automotive industry • paper industry • wood industry • furniture industry • construction industry The principle of treating wastewater in AS–ASLI WWTP The continuously produced wastewater from the production is homogenized in an accumulation tank where it is being mixed with a low-speed mixer and pumped through a pipe mixer into a coagulative-sedimentation reactor. After the homogenization, the pollution level of the wastewater is almost always the same. ASIO Ltd. Kšírova 552/45, 619 00 Brno, Czech Republic Phone: +420 548 428 111 E-mail: a

In the pipe mixer, the pH of the wastewater is corrected to the required value with an alkalite stabilizator. The pollution from the wastewater is coagulated by dosing a coagulant. Thus, neutralization of the wastewater to the required value of pH is also secured in accordance to requirements of discharging wastewater into a sewage canalisation. V-Acini / proquc^ A more effective filtration and dewatering of coagulated products is secured by adding an organic floculant. The treated wastewater meets the values for being further treated in a biological WWTP. 3 Dewatering of coagulated pollution...
