SMT L I N E AND LABORA TORY In October 2015 our brand new state of the art Surface Mount Technology line (SMT) and Laboratory became fully operational, located in a fully Electrostatic Discharge Protected Environment within our UK factory. PHOTOMETRIC LABORATORY The ASD Lighting photometric laboratory is also located at our main site in Rotherham, meaning that we have full control and can easily integrate new ideas and concepts into finished products. In 2014/15 we invested approximately £500,000 on a new laboratory environment and facilities, including a 3.5 metre integrated sphere which is amongst the largest in Europe and a new 14 metre gonio-photometer environment.
