Innovation, performance & design

Fiberglass is a composite material that combines a fiberglass planter structure with a gelcoat polyester overlay to harden the fibers and strengthen the planter. FROST RESISTANT Fiberglass planters are covered with an insulator on the inside to resist temperature differences and root growth. It is a high-performance material that is used in the manufacture of boat hulls and motorbike helmets. It is now increasingly used in exterior design for its contemporary appearance and mechanical qualities.

CORTEN STEEL FROST RESISTANT Corten steel is a material that is increasingly used in architecture and is particularly well suited to the garden. When exposed to the elements, it oxidises on the surface and is covered with a film of rust that gives the objects an authentic and natural appearance. This surface film protects the metal underneath from further corrosion, ensuring a particularly long life for the product. ROBUST & DURABLE The planters we supply have not yet been oxidised. Weathering for 4-5 months will be necessary to achieve the final vintage «rust effect».

ADVICE & MAINTENANCE FIBERGLASS PLANTERS Artepot fiberglass planters are easy to clean. Simply apply a neutral cleaning product (PH between 6 and 8) to the planters twice a year. High pressure cleaning is not recommended as it can cause damage. We offer a high-performance cleaning kit specially designed for composite materials such as fiberglass and polyester resin. This cleaner is neutral and cleans the pot without damaging it. This process can be repeated twice a year.
