Pepper Place: Sydney, Australia, 2017 Architect: Hassell Natural materials, bright colours and organic curves: the furniture chosen for the Pepper office reflects the lightness of the space. Reclining in one of the armchairs, one enjoys an unhindered view over the bay.

Geometry Global Place: Hamburg, Germany, 2014 Architect: PLY atelier 1 Madelmoiselle Lounge Chair 2 Mademoiselle Rocking Chair For Geometry Global, PLY atelier created areas to work, lounge, chat…and hide! The Made­ moiselle Lounge Chair invites casual chats in the open space while Kiki Sofa caters to informal meetings.

Camper Store Place: New York, US, 2012 Architect: Shigeru Ban, Dean Maltz Combining artificial and natural elements, the Camper store blurs the lines between indoors and outdoors, playing with visitors’ perceptions. The 10-Unit System bench by Shigeru Ban functions as both seating and display surface.

Chan Luu Place: Tokyo, Japan, 2017 Architect: Johnston Marklee All the pieces in Chan Luu’s collection are made by hand. Arket Place: Copenhagen, Denmark, 2017 Architect: ARKET inhouse team The new Swedish brand Arket and the Finnish Artek share an appreciation of quality through well-made, durable products that are designed for longevity. The archetypical stool, designed by Alvar Aalto and finished in a customised colour, is an integral part of the design concept of Arket stores.

Uppetite Place: Brussels, Belgium, 2016 Architect: A2RC In 2016, the restaurant Uppetite opened in the UP-Site tower, the tallest residential building in Belgium and a new landmark in the city. Its interior is furnished throughout with Artek pieces, giving the space a Nordic feel. Denali Hair Salon Place: Tokyo, Japan, 2016 Design: Atsushi Nagata, Milestone HOSPITALITY & WELLNESS Playing with ideas of insides and outsides, the Denali Hair Salon hides nothing. Exposed wooden beams and concrete walls are complemented by the Domus Chair, whose joints are on plain view.
