We were inspired by one of the most exotic places in the world for our Carabao collection: the Philippines. The banana tree is one of the country’s most important natural resources, and it’s the inner bark of this very tree that is used for these unique wallcoverings. The collection takes its name from the national animal: the Carabao or Asian water buffalo. It also lends its name to the Isla Carabao, one of the 7,107 islands making up the Philippines

For this collection, we immersed colours of the Amazon rainforest. The iridiscent effect on a butterfly's wings, the gorgeous plumage preened by the toucan, the baffling colour of the chameleon... We called on our finest materials and technical expertise to incorporate them into Amazone 2. wallcoverings for the ultimate in refinement

Sometimes, in very hot areas, an intriguing natural phenomenon can be perceived. It usually occurs at sea or in the desert, and looks like there is a pool of water or a mirror covering the surface. This optical effect is caused by the bending of light through layers of hot and cool air. We call this phenomenon a mirage. This intriguing illusion inspired us to create a collection of wallcoverings with a very similar optical effect. Their appearance changes constantly under the reflection of light and the position of the beholder – thus adding liveliness and subtle movement to your walls.
