3.3 Anti-Microbial Preservation Tactite is a water-based, semi-transluscent decorative wall coating which features a soft touchђ feel to create a warm inviting interior with a suede or textured finish. One 5 litre unit will cover approximately 40mҲ (400ft) in 2 coats. 5.1 New Surfaces ҕ Ensure all surfaces are sound, clean and suitably dry. Drying times: 4 Ֆ 8 hours. Dense or highly polished surfaces should be coated with an appropriate primer to promote effective adhesion. > 3.1 Scrub Resistance Օ Porous surfaces should be primed with a mist coat of BaseColor Satin thinned with up to 20% clean water. The Tactite system (BaseColor Satin, Tactite) was tested for wet scrub resistance according to ASTM D2486 and ISO 2812. A sample of Tactite was tested for VOC following procedures outlined in ASTM D3960 Standard Practise for Determining Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Content of Paints and Related CoatingsӔ and ISO 11890-2 Paints and varnishes. Օ Rinse surfaces with clean water to remove any residues. Spot prime any bare or filled areas with a mist coat of BaseColor Satin or an appropriate primer as necessary. To apply Tactite you will require the following tools and materials: Store in good dry conditions between 5 25ְC. Protect from frost. Protect from sunlight and sources of direct heat.
