3.2 VOC Testing Perlata is a water-based, decorative wall coating specially formulated with pearlescent pigments to create an elegant finish with a subtle surface shimmer. Perlata is available in a wide range of colours which are suitable for both modern and classical interiors. A sample of Perlata PLS was tested for VOC following procedures outlined in ASTM D3960 Standard Practise for Determining Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Content of Paints and Related CoatingsӔ and ISO 11890-2 Paints and varnishes. 5.1 New Surfaces Surfaces to receive Perlata must be prepared as ready for painting. Ensure all surfaces are sound, clean and suitably dry. These instructions are offered as a guide only. Always try small areas first before attempting large walls. A demonstration DVD and training courses, which would offer greater insight, are available. Օ Dense or highly polished surfaces should be coated with an appropriate primer to promote effective adhesion. Porous surfaces should be primed with a mist coat of BaseColor Matt thinned with up to 20% clean water. Օ Stir product thoroughly before use....

Perlata is a non-toxic water-based product. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet for further information. > Store in good dry conditions between 5 25ְC. Protect from frost. Protect from sunlight and sources of direct heat. Keep container sealed when not in use.
