It is a scale from 0 tolOO and color rendering increases when the value goes to 100. A light source with value of Ra = 100 reveals all the colors optimally as under a reference light source CRI is critical in hospitals especially places such as operating rooms, examination rooms, intensive care units and laboratories. CRI should be 90 in these premises.
