Rui Paula, the Chef Rui Paula was born in Porto in 1967. It was in the Municipality of Alijo, during the holidays spent in the family home, that he developed a taste for cooking. He was strongly influenced by his grandmother and the foods she was preparing based on old recipes and use of local products.
